The Sturgeon Bay Legion baseball team swept a doubleheader from Valders on Sunday at Memorial Field. The Bays got a no-hitter from Keith Lehmann to take the opener 7-0. Jason Lindemann had 3 hits to spark the Bays attack while Jared Lindemann, Riley Cordier and Nick LeCaptain all had 2 hits. Sturgeon Bay rallied from a 2-1 deficit in the 3rd inning to score a 10-2 win in Game 2. Jason Lindemann and Cordier added 2 more hits while Jared Lindemann, Austin Rohe and Cordier had 2 RBI’s each. Lehmann scored 3 runs while Mike Larsen walked twice and scored twice. Austin Lardinois started and picked up the win with Jason Lindemann pitching the final 3 innings for the Save.

Sturgeon Bay swept a doubleheader at Freedom. The Bays won the first game 9-2 behind the pitching of Lucas Stephenson and rallied to win the second game 3-2 with Austin Rohe going the distance for the win. Sturgeon Bay will host Kewaunee County on Tuesday Night at Memorial Field.
