Algoma beat Sturgeon Bay 10-0 in 6 innings in a Packerland Conference softball game at PBI Field on Thursday. The Wolves (3-2) took the early lead when Carmen Haack ripped a 3 run double with two out in the top of the first inning. Meg Ryan added an RBI single in the 3rd inning and Andie Vandertie had RBI doubles in the 4th and 6th inning as Algoma pulled away. Jordan Demmin pitched the shutout for the Wolves. The Clippers (5-1) threatened in the first and 5th innings but could not score. Marissa Ehlers had 2 hits for Sturgeon Bay.
