Matt Bollant, head coach of the Green Bay women’s basketball team, announced the teams 2011-12 schedule on Wednesday. The Phoenix open their season on the road for the 25th consecutive season, playing at North Dakota State on November 11th.
For the second straight year the Phoenix will play in a holiday tournament during Thanksgiving break, taking on Illinois and Georgia Tech at the San Jaun Shootout in Puerto Rico. Marquette will play at Green Bay on December 2nd, while the Phoenix play the Badgers in Madison December 23rd.
Green Bay opens the exhibition season October 29th vs Division 2 National Runner-up Michigan Tech.
