Gibraltar Improves To 2-0

The Gibraltar 8-man football team traveled to Stiem Field in Schofield for a week two matchup with Luck and the Vikings came away with an 80-44 win Thursday afternoon.  Down 16-8 at the end of the first quarter, Gibraltar turned four second quarter turnovers into 36 consecutive points and led 44-22 at the half on their way to the victory.  Quarterback Nick Kita threw six touchdown passes, three to Austin Bauldry and three to Matt Andersen.  Kyle Keehan ran for two scores before leaving with an injury and Bauldry had a fourth touchdown on the ground.  Peter Meyer and Evan Reinhardt both had interception returns for touchdowns.
