The Sturgeon Bay girls basketball team won at Shiocton Friday afternoon, 53-42. Linnea Schmelzer led the Clippers with 16 points. Amelia Campbell added 11 as Sturgeon Bay improves to 3-6.
The Kewaunee girls basketball team lost in the championship game of the West De Pere tournament. The Storm fell to Bay Port, 49-42. Alex Richard and Jill Kleiman each scored 11 points to lead Kewaunee, who drops to 7-2.
The Kewaunee boys basketball team lost in the consolation game of the West De Pere tournament Friday. The Storm lost to Green Bay East, 69-62. Kewaunee had three players score in double figures. Caleb Johnson had 17 points, Jared Pribek added 14 and Reggie Nimmer chipped in 11. Kewaunee is now 5-3.
The Algoma boys slipped by Two Rivers, 62-61. Travis Kostichka had a game-high 19 points and Jake Wiese added 17 as the Wolves improve to 7-1.
And the Sevastopol boys lost to Menasha Saint Mary Central, 80-28. Cody Giesseman scored 8 points for the Pioneers, who drop to 2-5.
