Lancaster beat Kewaunee 52-26 in a WIAA Division 5 State Semi-Final playoff game at Brookfield Central High School on Friday. The Storm (11-2) opened a 13-0 lead on the strength of 2 td passes from Caleb Johnson to Jesse Kleiman, but the Flying Arrows (13-0) took their first lead early in the second quarter when they scored a pair of touchdowns in :22 seconds. Six Lancaster touchdowns went for more than 30 yards. Quarterback Nate Tranel led the way with 4 rushing td’s (31, 33, 42, 48) and Tyler Glass added three. Dylan Saxby added two scores for Kewaunee while Saxby and Johnson had interceptions for the Storm defense. It will be the third straight title game appearance for Lancaster as they play undefeated Stanley-Boyd next Thursday. The Orioles beat defending champion Amherst 28-21 on Friday.
