Egg Harbor Takes Down Institute

There was one Door County League game under the lights Friday night and Egg Harbor avenged their only loss of the season winning at Institute, 9-3.  The Indians (8-1) snapped a 1-1 tie with a run in the fourth.  They added two in the fifth and tacked on five more runs over the final two innings.  Brian Crook had four hits, including a home run.  He was a triple shy of the cycle.  Crook scored three times and drove in three runs.  Jason Fuller had three hits (two RBI) and Riley Spetz and Joe Sawyer each added two hits.  Rob Schartner (3-0) pitched the first seven innings for the win.  Adam Schartner and Cody Giesseman each had two hits for Institute (3-6).  Losing pitcher Kyle Volkman (3-6) went eight innings.
