Southern Door beat Oconto 3-0 in a Packerland Conference baseball game on Thursday. Not only did Austin Rohe pitch a 2 hit shutout, he added a two run double in Southern Door’s three run 5th inning. Nolan Wagner walked to lead off the fifth followed by a Trevor Hawkey bunt single. Nick LeCaptain drove in the first run of the game with a single to centerfield before Rohe’s double to left centerfield put the game out of reach. Southern Door, who has sole possession of first place after Sturgeon Bay lost on Thursday, will finish their suspended game at NEW Lutheran on Friday. The Eagles lead the Blazers 4-3 with play resuming in the top of the 5th inning.
