Eagles Knock Off Wolves

The Southern Door softball team beat Algoma 4-3 on Monday, giving the Wolves their first loss of the season.  The Eagles scored the winning run in the bottom of the 7th inning when Bailey Baudhuin had a lead off single followed by an Amy Englebert base hit that left Southern Door with runners on second and third with nobody out.  Rachel Andres drove in the winning run with a RBI sacrifice fly to centerfield.  McKayla Dantoin allowed 5 hits in the complete game win for Southern Door (6-1).  Dantoin and Englebert had two hits each for the Eagles.  Algoma tied the game in the top of the fourth inning but left the bases loaded.  Jordan Demmin had 2 hits and an RBI for the Wolves (7-1).
