Southern Door will play Sturgeon Bay in a Packerland Conference football game at Memorial Field tonight. The Eagles (4-1, 4-3) have won four straight games and are guaranteed a Division 5 playoff spot after their win over Kewaunee last week. The Clippers (3-2, 4-4) have lost back to back games and one more win would put them in the playoffs for a third straight year. The Eagles have won 10 straight in the series, Sturgeon Bay’s last win was in 2012.
All ticket sale proceeds from this game and the volleyball game between the Eagles and Clippers will be donated to Hurricane relief. In addition to the funds raised at the games, both schools will be accepting online donations to further support hurricane relief efforts. Community members who wish to contribute can do so by contacting either school district.
