Sturgeon Bay beat Southern Door 6-0 in a Packerland Conference baseball game in Brussels on Friday. Riley Cordier pitched a one hitter with 11 strikeouts to get the win. Sturgeon Bay broke a scoreless tie in the top of the 5th inning when Matt Van Bramer hit a sacrifice fly to score Austin Lardinois and Lucas Stephenson scored on a wild pitch. The Clippers added 4 runs in the top of the 7th to put the game out of reach. Casey Giesseman (2- run double) and Stephenson had 3 hits to lead Sturgeon Bay while Lardinois and Justin Krause added 2 hits each. Lardinois and Stephenson scored twice. Austin Rohe had the only hit for the Eagles. Keegan Kroening allowed 2 runs in 5 inning to take the tough luck loss.
