The Sturgeon Bay football team won their first game of the Alternate Fall Season when they beat Chequamegon, 22-18, at Capitol Credit Union Park in Ashwaubenon on Friday. The Clippers opened the scoring with a 2 yard td run and two point conversion by David Zuehlke and led 22-12 at the half after a pair of Anthony Jennerjohn to Jack Schmelzer touchdown passes of 8 and 52 yards. It’s Sturgeon Bay’s first win since the 2017 season. The Clippers will play Oakfield on Thursday (WDOR).
