The Sturgeon Bay boys basketball team beat Algoma 51-42 on Tuesday Night for their fifth straight win. With both Ben Felhofer and David Tauber missing most of the first half because of foul trouble, the Clippers were still able to go on a 16-2 run to build a 24-17 halftime lead. The Wolves never got closer than four in the second half. Sturgeon Bay (6-2, 8-5) were led by Alex Bailey’s 16 points and Michael Kolb added 15. The Wolves (6-2, 9-3) were led by Jordan Ebert (13 points) and Travis Kostichka (10 points).
NEW Lutheran beat Gibraltar 57-50 on Tuesday Night in Fish Creek. The Blazers lead the Packerland Conference with a record of (7-1). Sturgeon Bay’s next conference game is January 27th at NEW Lutheran.
