Sturgeon Bay scored 4 runs in the top of the sixth inning to beat Southern Door, 6-2, in a Packerland Conference baseball game on Friday. The Eagles led 2-1 after the first inning when Nick Beck and Collin Everard had RBI base hits off of Siggy Hansen. But Hansen held the Eagles without a hit in the next 5 innings and retired the final 12 batters he faced. The Clippers tied the game in the top of the sixth inning on an error and took the lead for good when Bryce Plzak doubled to the left centerfield fence that scored Rylan Ruenger, Jack Higgenbotham and Patrick Haese. Plzak pitched a scoreless 7th for Sturgeon Bay.
