Sturgeon Bay handed Gibraltar/Washington Island their first loss of the season, 7-0, at Memorial Field on Tuesday. Freshman Ethan Kratcha fired a two hitter with 12 strikeouts to lead the Clippers past the Division 4 #1 ranked Vikings. Rylan Ruenger, Patrick Haese (double) and Caleb Plzak (HBP) drove in runs in a three run third inning and Sturgeon Bay added two more in both the 4th and 6th innings. Caleb Plzak finished with 3 hits and 3 RBI while Haese had two hits and scored two runs and Bryce Plzak double and scored twice for the Clippers. Owen Dannhausen had both hits for the Vikings.
