NEW Lutheran beat Sturgeon Bay 65-64 in overtime Thursday Night at Sturgeon Bay High School. The Blazers built a 45-33 lead in the fourth quarter only to see the Clippers tie the game at 59 on a Nathan Abrahamson 3 pointer late in regulation. The overtime session saw four lead changes—Abrahamson opened the scoring, the Blazers took the lead on a Dakota Zinser 3-the Clippers answered with a Ben Felhofer basket before Zinser scored the games final points with :17 seconds to play. Zinser finished with 18 points and Travis Voigt added 14 for NEW Lutheran (2-0, 3-1). Ben Felhofer and Alex Bailey scored 15 and David Tauber added 10 for the Clippers (0-2, 0-3).
