The biggest Chinook Salmon of the season was caught near the Bank Reef out of Sturgeon Bay. Mike Cefalu landed his 34.50 pound trophy Thursday Morning while fishing aboard his Lynn A Charter boat “Sea Drift”. As always, there’s a story that goes along with catching the fish of a lifetime….

Cefalu’s trophy, weighed on a certified meat scale at Marchant’s Meats and Sausage, was caught two days before the opening of the 29th annual Kewaunee/Door County Salmon Tournament.
