Sturgeon Bay lost to Beaver Dam 10-9 at the Class “AA” State American Legion baseball tournament on Sunday Night in Luxemburg. Beaver Dam scored 7 runs in the first inning, but the Bays scored 3 runs in the 2nd inning and 6 more in the third to lead 9-8. But #1 ranked Beaver Dam tied the game in the bottom of the 6th inning with two out on a bases loaded walk by pinch hitter Tyler Budde and took the lead on an infield single by Sam White. Riley Schartner had 2 RBI’s for the Bays while 7 other players had an RBI each. David Van Dreese, Jason Lindemann and Keith Lehmann had two hits for Sturgeon Bay.
