Wisconsin quarterback Russell Wilson was named the Big Ten’s Offensive Player of the Week following his performance against UNLV. In the Badgers’ season opener, Wilson threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns and he added 62 yards rushing, including a 46-yard TD run. Wilson became the second player in Wisconsin history to pass for over 250 yards and run for more than 50 in the same game and the first to do so since 1979.
