Wisconsin destroyed Penn State Saturday 45-7, clinching the Leaders Division & earning a spot in the first ever Big Ten title game against Legends Division winner Michigan State. The Badgers cruised to a 28-7 halftime lead & rolled on from there. Montee Ball rushed for 156 yards & four touchdowns, giving him 34 on the season, & putting Ball in reach of Barry Sanders’ single season record of 39. Russell Wilson was efficient, throwing for 185 yards, 2 touchdowns & adding 35 yards on the ground.
The Big Ten title game will be a rematch between the Spartans & Badgers. Their game earlier this season was won on a last second hail mary pass by Michigan State.
