Badgers Beat American in NCAA Opener

Wisconsin turned an early deficit into a rout Thursday in their NCAA tournament opener against American University. Wisconsin rolled to a 75 to 35 win & will play in the round of 32 Saturday against Oregon.  The Badgers went on a 22-5 run to end the first half to take a 10 point lead heading into the break & dominated in the second half. Traevon Jackson led all scorers with 18 points, Ben Brust chipped in 17, including four three pointers.

Saturday’s Wisconsin – Oregon game will begin around 6:45 PM and will be heard on 93.9 FM WDOR.
