‘Back to the Resch’

Algoma will return to the WIAA State Girls Basketball Tournament to defend their title after a 48-40 win over Auburndale on Saturday Night in Waupaca.  The Wolves took the lead for good midway through the third quarter and held off a fiesty Auburndale team for the win.  Kennedy Blahnik scored a career high 28 points for Algoma while Baleigh Delorit and Meg Ryan combined for 17 points for the Wolves.  Algoma is the defending Division 4 State Champion and will play Saint Mary’s Springs at 6:35 Thursday Night at the Resch Center in Green Bay.  Our coverage begins at 6:15 on 93.9FM / wdor.com
