The Sturgeon Bay 13 year old Babe Ruth All-Stars finished 1-2 in District play, losing at Wausau 4-2 on Saturday. Alex Ploor alowed 1 run in 5 innings for Sturgeon Bay. Trevor Hawkey and Cooper Nellis had RBI singles for Sturgeon Bay.
The 14’s were eliminated after an 18-3 loss to DC Everest in Shawano. Earlier on Saturday, Sturgeon Bay had scored an 8-1 win over Northwoods. Drew Tanck had 3 hits while Tim Dahl added two. Mitch Neubauer allowed one run in 6 innings. The 14’s finished 1-3 in District play.
