Algoma Wraps Up Conference Season

The Algoma baseball team beat Sevastopol in game one of a double header Thursday at Perry Field, 8-1. The Wolves scored three runs in the first, highlighted by a two-run double from Aiden Jorns. Algoma added two runs in the second and then Parker Lischka hit a three-run home run in the fifth. Lischka had two hits in the win, which went to Charlie Prokash. The freshman right hander went the distance, allowing a run on five hits. He had seven strikeouts and did not walk a batter. Oliver Matthews had two hits for Sevastopol and Aiden Isakson had a run scoring single in the seventh.

Algoma beat Sevastopol in game two, 11-0 in five innings.
