Algoma beat Hilbert 28-21 on Friday Night at Perry Field in Algoma, moving into a tie for first in the Olympian/Packerland Small. Zach Blahnik rushed for three touchdowns, had a touchdown saving tackle on the kickoff following Daul’s td, then pressured Hilbert quarterback Mitch Gruett on 4th down with :35 seconds to play. Coach Vandervest….

Heading into the regular season finale, Algoma is in position to win a share of the Olympian/Packerland Small Conference title. The Wolves, Hilbert and Manitowoc Lutheran are all (5-1) in league play.
