Institute- Algoma opened the high school football season with a 33-6 win over Sevastopol on Friday night. The Wolves shook off a couple of early turnovers, then took advantage of a strong running game to build a 13-0 halftime lead. Zach Blahnik, Shane Andrews and Taylor Daul all had rushing touchdowns for the Wolves, while Andrews threw a 16 yard td to Blahnik and connected with Hunter Prokash on a 25 yard scoring pass while Trent Delorit had an interception for the Wolves. Cody Giesseman scored on a 2 yard touchdown run with :10 to play in the game, while Zach DeFere recovered a fumble and Alan Karas had an interception for the Pioneers.
