Terry Gfeller of Ely, Minnesota is the current leader of the 31st annual Kewaunee/Door County Salmon Tournament. Fishing near Washington Island, Gfeller landed a 32.41 pound fish that measured 41.5 inches long at 11AM on Sunday. Tournament officials say that there is a new 2nd place fish. Steve Seilo of Green Bay caught a 29.66 pound fish using cut bait off of Kewaunee on Monday. During the first three days of the tournament, 148 fish weighing 20 pounds or better have hit the scales. The nine day tournament runs through Sunday, July 28 with the winner claiming the $10,000 top prize.
