If you want to have a fun time in Sturgeon Bay Saturday, follow the words of Horatio Alger & “Go West Young Man”…or woman. The annual West Fest will take place from 11AM until 5PM, with most of the action on Madison Avenue, between Maple & Oak Streets. The list of activities includes a craft show, a chili cook off, the goldrush give away with cash prizes, & the cowboy costume contest. While sampling a variety of great things to eat, you’ll be entertained by the likes of Stone Sober. While you’re at it, head on over to the Door County Maritime Museum for the Tug Fest, featuring tours of the John Purves, children’s model tug building, races & horse rides.
