For the second year in a row, the WDOR “Radio-A-Thon” for the March of Dimes has been a big success. For six hours, listeners were asked to call in or stop by the WDOR studios to make a donation to the state program and they responded in a big way. During the broadcast day, several individuals took the time to talk about the impact of the march of dimes locally. A final tally hasn’t been tabulated, but the last accounting indicated that at least $3,000 was raised for the March of Dimes by way of the WDOR Radio-A-Thon.
