Valmy Thresheree

The 29th annual Valmy Thresheree gets underway Friday at the club grounds of the Northeastern Wisconsin Antique Power Association, nine miles North of Sturgeon Bay, on Country View Road. The Thresheree pays tribute to the men, women & the machines that were an important part of agriculture locally during a by gone era. The admission is $8 which covers the entire run of the event plus a souvenir button. The gates open at 6PM & there’s food & refreshments available. The Thresheree raffle features the top prize of $1,000 cash. In addition, a wide variety of antique machinery will also be put through their paces at the club grounds throughout the three day event. Teh 2011 Valmy Thresheree runs through Sunday at 5005 Country View Road.
