The City of Sturgeon Bay has listened to residents’ requests, and approved a few upgrades for the Bark Park on Shiloh Road. Municipal Services Director Mike Barker reports that potable water spigots were recently installed at the park to help owners keep their pets hydrated…
Next week the city will install lighting for the park to improve safety during the cooler months when there is less daylight. Barker says this will help those who visit the park after work in the winter…
In a recent statement, District 4 Alder Spencer Gustafson says these changes will make the park more comfortable, secure, and accessible for those who enjoy it, especially when the sun goes down early. The Bark Park is located just west of Division Road on Shiloh Road, and the park is open 24 hours a day, year-round.
