The United Way of Door County’s fundraising campaign came within an eyelash of hitting its goal. The United Way raised 454,663 dollars or 99.5 percent of its goal. The campaign finishes as the organization’s most successful ever and congratulations are in order for all those who participated in the United Way’s annual fundraising effort. A total of 42 programs at non-profits connected to the United Way will benefit in 2012.
