Two Missing Person Reports Resolved Quickly

During a typical holiday period, it is not uncommon for law enforcement to be alerted to the possibility of a person being missing or unaccounted for, especially if the person is a child or unfamiliar with the area. Such was the case Thursday when two missing person reports were called into the Door County Dispatch Center. One of the individuals, was missing in the Town of Liberty Grove, the other, a four year old child, was apparently lost in the Baileys Harbor area. According to a spokesman at the Door County Sheriff’s Department, the four year old was found before the officer arrived on the scene. The spokesman said the lack of a report in the other case is an indication that the situation was quickly resolved without police involvement, as well.
