Governor Scott Walker signed Act 141 Wednesday during a visit to Pewaukee, increasing the state transportation budget by $43 million. The funds will be used to advance 11 projects during fiscal year 2014. One of the projects preserves 12 miles of Highway 42 in Sturgeon Bay & Egg Harbor. The road construction work includes milling off portions of existing pavement & installing a new surface layer.
