A trail groomer that collided with a power pole off Highway 42 & West Townline Road, in the Town of Egg Harbor, caused a power outage that affected homes & businesses in the Carlsville area & knocked WDOR FM off the air, for a couple of hours Monday evening. No one was injured & it appears that neither the groomer nor the pole were damaged after the groomer slid into the utility pole. Wires came down & ground wires snapped due to the force of impact. Firefighters from the Carlsville fire station responded quickly & stood by because the downed wires were hot for a time. The power went out after a circuit breaker popped at the Dunn Road sub-station. A crew from Wisconsin Public Service responded in about 40 minutes.
