Earlier in the meeting, City Attorney James Kalny reported that the Department of Safety and Personal Services, the state agency that governs the fire chief’s demolition order, had extended the deadline for razing the structure to Saturday. Ward says more discussions between the DSPS and the city attorney are warranted…
In the meantime, Fire Chief Tim Dietman has indicated that citations could be issued to the city for disregarding his demolition order.
