An Entertaining Evening With the Taste of Home Cooking School

As advertised, the Taste of Home Cooking show provided an entertaining evening for a crowd of nearly four hundred that packed the ball room at the Stone Harbor Resort in Sturgeon Bay Thursday night. The program featured a series of great recipes presented & prepared, a fair amount of sage advice coupled with plenty of laughs & the chance to win a prize or two. A key ingredient in the Taste of Home “recipe for a successful evening” was culinary specialist Karen Davis who kept the audience in stitches. Chad Michaels has coordinated several of the Taste of Home Cooking shows for WDOR during more than 20 years at the station. Numerous door prizes were handed out during the evening, including the ten food items prepared for the show. The Taste of Home Cooking School was sponsored locally by Econo Foods, Appliances Plus, Ahnapee Hill Cleaning Service, & Thrivent Financial.
