Beginning Monday, April 7th, Sturgeon Bay Utilities will be blocking off parking areas at Kentucky & Louisiana Streets, between 1st & 4th Avenue, to replace the old decorative light poles with new poles & LED fixtures. SBU will concentrate on one block at a time to minimize the parking inconvenience. The roads will remain open at times & the work should be completed in about two weeks. The upgrades were planned as part of the utility’s annual budget & the goal was to have them in place before the busy tourism season begins.
