The Sturgeon Bay Board of Education will continue the process of finding a replacement for outgoing Superintendent Joe Stutting with a special meeting on Monday. Stutting announced this week that he would be moving to Eldridge, Iowa to take a position as Superintendent of the North Scott School District after eight years at Sturgeon Bay. He & his wife, Jami, are both natives of Iowa. With Stutting expected to begin his new job in July, School Board President Joel Kitchens called a meeting of the board for Monday evening in an effort to map out a strategy for finding a replacement. On Monday, board-members will interview consulting firms who aid in the search process. The meeting in the school instructional media center is expected to run from 5:30PM to 9PM, with the board getting together 15 minutes earlier. Stutting, who is 45, has been superintendent in Sturgeon Bay since 2006.
