The Labor Day Holiday will effect the collection of garbage & recyclables in Sturgeon Bay this week. Once again, the collection schedule will slide down one day from the normal schedule. In other words, Tuesday’s refuse & recyclables will be picked up Wednesday, Wednesday’s on Thursday & so on. Plastic, glass & tin materials will be collected this week All garbage & recyclables should be on the curb no later than 7AM on the collection date. The monthly large item collection in Sturgeon Bay will take place Friday. Any city resident wanting to schedule a collection, should contact the Sturgeon Bay Street Department at least 48 hours prior to pick up to be added to the list.
