Sturgeon Bay city engineer Tony Depies has provided an update on the 4thAvenue street project downtown. Depies says this week was a productive week that resulted in near completion of all underground work. Depies says, at present, the work remains nearly a week ahead of schedule, making the 4th of July completion date a reality. However, while he is pleased that the underground work went so well, Depies cautions that the entire project is weather dependent, especially the placement of concrete, & a period of bad weather could slow the project.
