Southern Door Superintendent Search

As part of the effort to select a new District Administrator, the Southern Door Board of Education is seeking community input with focus groups meeting in September. One such session is set for Wednesday, September 7th, from 6PM to 7PM, in the Southern Door Community Auditorium. Board members have engaged the services of the Wisconsin Association of School Boards in the search for a replacement for Superintendent Joe Innis who is retiring at the end of the year, after 22 years on the job. The mission of focus groups is to develop the criteria & interview questions for candidates for the job, helping the board find the best candidate. The WASB’s Louis Birchbauer is facilitating the work of the focus groups. The schedule for the three focus groups meeting on September 7th is as follows:
3:45PM – 4:45PM – The staff focus group meets in the auditorium.
6PM – 7:30PM – Community focus group meets in the auditorium.
7:30PM – 8:30PM – Board of education focus session in the high school library.
