The selection of a new superintendent for the Southern Door school district is in the hands of the board of education now that a community forum has been completed. About three dozen people attended the sessions featuring 65 year old Roy Jonjak, currently part time district administrator for the Gillett school district & 47 year old Patricia Vickman, director of human resources for the Oshkosh school district. The school also held closed sessions with the two candidates. The person selected will replace outgoing superintendent Joe Innis who is retiring at the end of the current school year after 22 years on the job. The next regular meeting of the Southern Door board of education is December 6th at 7PM.
