A candidate forum involving individuals running for seats on the Southern Door board of education, will be presented tonight(2/13) at 7pm in the high school cafeteria. The event, sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Door County, will feature candidates Polly Alberts, Chuck Bretl, Perry DeGrave, Lori Sampo & Dawn Starr. Two school board seats will be contested in the April election. However, before that happens, a primary will be needed on February 21st. The forum is an opportunity to hear from all of the candidates about their objectives, experience & plans for the Southern Door school district. Audience members will submit questions for the candidates which will be screened by the league. After the forum, there will be time to meet the candidates one on one.
