Nominations recognizing a volunteer who exemplifies the very best of what Northern Door County can offer it’s friends & neighbors are now being solicited. The Sister Bay Advancement Association is looking for one such person, someone who has played a significant role in the success of annual events & activities. The second annual Sister Bay/Liberty Grove Volunteer of the Year award will be handed out at the 66th annual Fall Fest on Saturday, October 15th. A unique piece of art will be given to the recipient. To be eligible for the award, nominees must have volunteered their time & services within the village of Sister Bay or the Town of Liberty Grove within the past year, from October of 2010 through September of this year, & must not have received monetary compensation. All volunteers are eligible, even if nominated the previous year.
