Shop Small In Sturgeon Bay

The Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center is promoting the second annual small business Saturday this weekend. The day is dedicated to supporting small businesses on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year. The idea is to fuel the local economy by shopping at local stores. Amy Demeter, promotions coordinator at the visitor center, says the shop small movement is a way to help small businesses stay strong with local patronage. Demeter says small businesses are important because they provide jobs, preserve neighborhoods & feed the local economy. The second annual Saturday dedicated to small business is November 26th in Sturgeon Bay.
