The Sturgeon Bay Police Department has cleared up several criminal damage reports involving city homes & businesses in the months of August & September with the arrest of two juveniles. On Tuesday, officers interrogated the pair & they reportedly admitted involvement in the criminal damage incidents. In September, thousands of dollars in damage was done to coolers on the roof of the BP Travel Center. A month earlier, a window at the Cherryland Shell car wash was shot out with a b-b gun & the fire alarm was activated at the Cherryland Motel. Officers also found that drains had been plugged, causing extensive water damage. The investigative files for both juveniles have been referred to the district attorney’s office for possible charges. The Sturgeon Bay Police Department extended thanks to the citizens who assisted in the investigation.
