Folks in Door County are quite generous when it comes to providing a helping hand for those in need. But, if you are rude & lewd because you don’t get the response you were looking for, you might just end up in jail. A 41 year old Milwaukee man found that out on Tuesday. Sturgeon Bay Police, following up on the report of a suspicious person, learned that the man had been panhandling downtown & made lewd comments to a woman when she refused to give him money. The woman was so frightened that she retreated to her apartment complex nearby & contacted the authorities. They, in turn, arrested the man for disorderly conduct & harassment. He was transported & booked at the Door County jail.
