Sturgeon Bay firefighters will be back in the city’s downtown area Saturday to continue their “Fill-the-Boot” fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. As in the past, members of union local 2682 will be located at the intersection of 3rd Avenue & Louisiana Street from 8:30AM to 4:30PM. This Saturday marks the second of three times firefighters will collect funds for MDA this summer. So far, they have raised $3,267 & are hoping to do a little better the second time around. All of the funds raised locally will be invested in programs to help people in Door County.
