Santa to Visit DCMM Saturday

The 94-year old tugboat John Purves will be home to Santa Claus Saturday as the jolly old elf makes his annual visit to the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay. Herbst says once on board the 149-foot tugboat, Santa will eagerly accept children’s Christmas wishes. However, due to the cramped conditions on the vessel, only two adults will be permitted to escort the children. While they wait, kids will be entertained by videos in the museum’s Reddin Bridge Room.
